Ellel Ministries International, Frensham, Farnham, Surrey | jrsomebodyschild@hotmail.co.uk

Here is a short testimony of my visit to you on the 5th April 2008.
Got to your site arond 8.15am and the minute I stepped on your land at Life Discovery, I felt welcomed as it can be quite scary with lots of people you don‘t know. The coffee and tea are a great way of just mingling with each other and waking up of course.
The team, I found, were fantastic, helpful, very patient and engaging.
The events, through the day were very inspiring and team team building. There certainly was no Bible bashing but the team weren‘t ashamed to say they were Christians - That‘s a fantastic balance.
As a person who has worked in many settings - Prison chapliancy, youth and community work and overseas travel, Life Discovery is one of the best places I have experienced that shares the message of Jesus in a real and honest way but with fun challenges and integrity.
The food was amazing. Lunch and dinner with talks and DVDs to explain the works of Life Discovery.
I have been a Christian for eighteen years coming from 16 years in care and 7 years on the street.
A team like yours were working out on the streets and came up to me and told me I mattered to God. My life has not been the same since.
Life Discovery is an awesome place. All the team inspired me with their dedication and a real heart to make a difference.

Just want to Thank you for an amazing day.
With out exception, every person I spoke with, during and after, thought it was a brilliant day. The new style pack was amazing too and tied in so well with the day.
We hade some great discussions in the cars on the way back and some of the guys were in the Church, Sunday morning.
This was our third Men‘s Event with you guys, our first Ladies Multi-Activity day will be in August, and they are looking forward to it so much (many of the non-church going guys went home and talked the wives into going).
We have at least 5 guys from out previous events still in church - All who have brought others along to the next events.
One guy has been trying for five years to get his brother to a church event to no avail but he was there Saturday and loved every minute of it.

The Life Discovery Centre is a brilliant place to introduce anyone to the Christian message. The activities were hair-raising, the centre volunteers were helpful and the Christian message was clearly and imaginatively presented.

My friend Kate and I had a great time on Saturday, I didn‘t realise I was such a speed freak! Kate was pretty fast on the go-carts and for me the dirt buggies were so much fun.The food was fresh and delicious, both of us enjoyed the talks and they provoked some interesting discussions as we each talked through what we believed.
Jonathan was interesting, relevant and unafraid to pose challenging questions in a gracious way. His multimedia approach and easy manner meant there was zero cringe factor... an important fact when I am bringing a valued friend with me who doesn‘t usually come to church. Not only have I come to Life Discovery once but now I am signing up for later this year to go with friends on the Life Discovery spa day. These first Saturdays in the month for a mere £30 are a terrific day out but more than that they are an excellent place to hear, maybe for the first time, that God has real long lasting life to give to you. Go and find out what you have been missing out on!

About Health, Beauty & Life - Thank you all very much for a really great day! The group thoroughly enjoyed themselves - but more than that, they were touched by the love and the care they received from everyone - it was a real witness to Gods love in action.

Christ Church, Bromley |

On behalf of Christ Church Bromley, many thanks for all the hard work of your team on Sat 17 May at Sandown. Everyone enjoyed themselves very much, especially all the non-Christians that came along. You unashamedly go for the Gospel, right from the off, which is great, no-one can ever be uncertain as to what the day is about, so thank you. You work well as a team, getting alongside people and gossipping the Gospel, it really is an effective ministry.

As I write, you may like to know that one young chap and his girlfriend have already said they would like to attend a Christianity Explored course, which starts on Weds evening. It is exciting to see God work in such a relevant way.

As part of our men's outreach programme at Holy Trinity, Redhill, we booked 25 places on a Karting For Life day and challenged the men in the church to bring at least one not-yet-Christian friend. The response was great - and why wouldn't it be? The men in our church found it very easy to invite their friends to this event - a whole day's karting on an outdoor racetrack, followed by a good evening meal, during the course of which there was a short and straightforward explanation of the gospel.

The day itself was memorable for all the right reasons! The well-experienced Life Discovery team were there to serve us, making sure we got the best out of the karts, and dishing up the food later in the day.

In between races (and courses!) there was time to chat to our invited guests in an informal setting - a rare opportunity for most of us who lead busy lives. Good relationships were established and built upon. I can't recommend this enough as an outreach event, particularly as one which appeals to men. We shall be using Life Discovery in the future.

Rev Adam Skirton | Fri 17 Oct 2003

Pastor, Blandford Evangelical Church, Dorset | themolehole@compuserve.com

I am writing to express our thanks once again to yourself and your wonderful team at Discovery Ministries. Our 'Dads and Lads' group had another fantastic time. Great conversations continued with some of our not-yet-Christian friends in the cars on the way back. My Muslim friend kept on going on about how friendly and patient everyone had been. The whole day was a Tremendous witness to him and all the others. It was great to spend time with the guys who at present wouldn't go near a church and to see them relaxed and enjoying themselves with Christians. The two who made commitments to Christ really were the icing on the cake!

Our group certainly got a glimpse of "Life in all it's fullness", through the fun time we had on the Karts; the fellowship we enjoyed during the day with each other and your team; and the Gospel presentation at the end of the day was an excellent finale.

Thank you once again for the time, effort and organising that must go into each day.

Please be encouraged, the Lord is using you all in a very special way.

Pastor, Kingdom Faith Church, Surrey | frank@kingdomfaith.com

For the last few years it has been one of the "perks" of my ministry to be invited as a guest speaker at both Karting For Life and Watersports For Life.

I really enjoy the days with the mix of activities and time to get to know some people. The evening then gives an opportunity to present the Gospel to a group of people who have become "mates" and who would normally not go anywhere near a church.

I do believe that Life Discovery has found an excellent way to reach people in a positive way with the Gospel.

The overwhelming majority of the guests are taken by the professionalism, excellent organisation and love that they experience during the event. They really feel "blessed" and loved, as a result it becomes one of the best opportunities to share the Gospel with unbelievers.

Giving them a first class fun day out convinces them that Christians are not as weird as they always thought! It also leaves them with enough information to find their way to Christ and to his fullness of life.

No-one is forced to "make a decision" or to say a prayer - but after a day with Life Discovery many leave willing to take the step into a new life."
